STEP ONE - STOP

access-your-future does not wish to replace public transport. If a public transport route is available and is deemed to meet your needs then your application will not be accepted.

Complete the checklist to see if you can apply online!

Are you living in Lincolnshire?
Do you have a job or have you been offered a place in education, training or work?
Is your distance to employment, education or training too far to walk?
Is your distance to employment, educaton or training less than 30 miles?
Do you have your own bank account?
Are you over 16 with your own provisional, or full, driving licence? (paper and photo card)
Do you have the £45.00 initial payment?
Can you afford a weekly payment ranging from £15.00 to £35.00?


If you have answered YES to all of the conditions then you can now
apply online.


If successful you will go through specific steps in order to get you accessing your future!


You will receive confirmation of eligability within 48 hours.


PLEASE NOTE: Applications will not be processed unless all required information is complete.

STEP 2 - GET READY

If you are eligible you will receive a date for you to come to access-your-future at West Ashby to complete your application.  This is a two hour event which includes:

  • Introduction

  • Confirming details from the original application

  • Individual Interview - to talk to you about your finances and how much you can afford to pay each week

  • Processes and problems

  • Sizing up for your kit!

If successful you will then receive a date, time and location to complete your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT).

Confirmation of a pass is then sent to us and we will arrange an induction session at access-your-future!

You are nearly on your way!

 

STEP 3 - GO!

Induction Day which includes:

  • Introduction

  • Completing forms and updating records

  • Arranging payment schemes

  • Saftey gear - kitting you out

  • Bike Safety

    • What could go wrong?

    • What could happen on the road?

    • What should you do?

    • Practical - the bike and you (duties and responsibilities)

If you live within 30 miles of the access-your-future site then you may be able to ride home on your bike after your induction.


If you live outside the 30 mile radius your bike will be delivered to your door within 48 hours.
